Porn production grinds to a halt in Los Angeles

Big news from Los Angeles today: porn production has completely stalled across the country after one actor tested positive for syphilis. The actor – who has not yet been named – has set off a flurry of drama across the porn industry.
After the outbreak, a porn industry trade group announced a complete halt to porn production across the country. The ban will reportedly last for ten days. The trade group also suggested that all performers take antibiotics to treat any potential STIs, and that they should visit a doctor as a precaution.
This news comes at an interesting time for the porn industry. Some industry execs argue that the porn industry is relatively free of STIs, and that porn has had a remarkably low infection rate over the years. As such, performers shouldn’t be required to wear condoms on set.

Although only one actor has tested positive for syphilis so far, some reports are suggesting that more performers could be infected, which is why porn industry trade groups are suggesting that all performers visit a doctor. Some articles are even claiming that the LA porn industry is full of STDs.
