Have you ever been recognized in Europe or the US?
Oh Yes. The first time it happened when I was working in my shop. A regular client came in and told me “You are Eva Karera!”
The first time it’s hard to deal with. I had another client in the fitting room, so I answered “No, who is this?” LOL.
We waited the second client to leave the shop and he told me “Yes, I am sure it’s you and I have a magazine in the car, can you sign your pics ?”
After that it’s happened several times and I realized that I couldn’t work anymore there LOL.
I also got recognized in Paris at a train station and a few times in New York while in the street and elevators. But in US people are more discreet, they keep quieter and just say I love your work!
What is your reaction to fans who recognize you on the streets?
I walk faster before they start to really get too excited LOL. Sometimes I get guys coming up to me and saying “I know you from somewhere but I am not sure from where…” I act a bit innocent and answer “I am surprised because I don’t think we ever met!” and I leave as quickly as I can. LOL.
Do you prefer male performers in Europe or America?
