“Deep Throat” Film Site For Sale

With the “Lovelace” film about to hit theatres, you may be interested to know that the home where its inspiration was filmed is now for sale. 3980 Wood Avenue in Miami, Florida, was one of the most important sets for the 1972 cult classic porn film “Deep Throat”, starring Linda Lovelace. The house and its .62 acre lot are priced at a cool $1.75 million. The mansion is remarkably unchanged from the time of filming.
Apparently, the mansion’s pornographic history is not as exciting to Miami home buyers as one might think. The home has been on the market for about 6 months, even after numerous price reductions. To try and mitigate the lot’s infamous reputation, its real estate agent has now suggested for buyers to consider demolishing or remodeling the home, instead of moving into it as-is. While this mecca of porn may have its days numbered, we’ll always have “Deep Throat”.
