Porn in the Courtroom

English court clerk Debasish Majumder is finding himself in a spot of trouble after being caught casually viewing hardcore pornography while a sexual assault victim testified at the Inner London Crown Court. According to a statement given to police, the clerk made a habit of looking at porn when he found the court proceedings to be a bit boring. He claimed not to realise anyone else could see his screen, even though there were people sitting behind him in the courtroom.
Due to his workplace indiscretions, Majumder has not only been suspended from his job for at least two years, but was also sentenced to seven months in prison, eighteen months court supervision, and to sign the Sex Offenders Register for the next ten years. Luckily for him, his previous unblemished record has spared him from jail time, but the rest of the judgements stand. Moreover, his computer usage will be monitored for the next five years.
It seems like a steep price to pay, but maybe he should have just waited until he got home.
