YouJizz sued for $100M

Popular free porn streaming site YouJizz is in a puddle of hot water today after three porn companies filed lawsuits. The three porn production companies are Black Ice, Third Degree, and the aptly named Zero Tolerance.
Charges of copyright and trademark infringement were filed in an Arizona courtroom this morning. The suit specifically claims that over 1,000 copyrighted works have been freely distributed and widely viewed on YouJizz and similar sites run by IG Media Inc., Igor Gens, and others. One Zero Tolerance video – called Teens in Tight Jeans – has been viewed over 5.5. million times on YouJizz.
Zero Tolerance founder and CEO Greg Alves called the people who run YouJizz “thieves” that want to destroy the hard work of porn producers and make money for themselves.
The YouJizz lawsuit follows in the wake of a similar lawsuit filed against Kink.com last week. While Kink.com argues that it is entitled to safe harbour protection under the DMCA, Zero Tolerance and its sister companies don’t feel that the same protection will apply to YouJizz.
Zero Tolerance is particularly mad about YouJizz’s practice of naming its porn videos after the actual porn movies they came from. This makes it difficult for the legitimate porn sites to outrank YouJizz in search engine rankings, which ultimately means lost profits for porn producers.
